What is a course registration application?
This refers to applying for courses for which you wish to earn credits during the relevant academic year.
Based on your individual study plan, you will register all the courses you will need for that academic year through the online course registration system in April (March for current students).
Please note that there are revision periods in late April for the first semester and late September for the second semester, during which you can make revisions to courses other than those that have already been registered and those that have been registered as classes.
About course enrollment and acquisition
"Courses" means registering for and studying courses specified in the curriculum in order to earn credits.
"Acquisition" means that you have completed a course, received a passing grade, and been awarded credits.
Students can graduate by studying for four years or more (two years for transfer students) and acquiring the required credits for graduation.
Credit system
- Students choose the subjects they want to learn (take), apply to enroll, take the courses (attend classes), and then pass the exams (some subjects do not have exams) to receive credits for each subject.
- Students will earn the required number of credits for graduation (124 credits for transfer students) during their time at the school, as determined by each department. If you wish to retake a course that was not approved (failed), you can reapply for the course from the following year onwards.
- Information regarding courses and classes will be posted on bulletin boards, through the portal system, and through guidance sessions, so please be sure to check the bulletin boards and the portal system regularly. Also, please be sure to attend guidance sessions.
- Please take note that among the subjects, there are "compulsory subjects" that you must complete, and "elective compulsory subjects" that you must select from a certain group of subjects and earn a specified number of credits.
