What is Career Center?

Career consultation

For many students, job hunting will be a first-time experience. When starting your job search, it is natural to have questions such as "What should I do to find a job?", "How should I go about my job search?", "What will Career Center do?", and "What questions should I ask?". You are not the only one who does not know, everyone is probably anxious. Career Center is here to help you eliminate that anxiety. Please feel free to come and talk to us about anything you do not understand or are wondering about.

Career guidance (guidance, seminars)

Career Guidance

We will provide you with information on employment in general through career guidance. We will hold several sessions starting from your third year (first year of graduate school), so please be sure to attend. (Please check Career Center website, portal, or LINE@ for the dates of the sessions.)

*We do not issue official absence application forms or job hunting certificates for attending guidance sessions, etc. Please give priority to your classes.

Various seminars and on-campus company information sessions

We also provide guidance on etiquette for working adults, etiquette required for company visits, and interview courses, as well as hold "civil service study groups," "on-campus joint company information sessions," and "individual company information sessions."

Recruitment and coordination

Staff from the center visit the hiring department of each company and constantly research recruitment information to provide up-to-date information, which is then published on Job Navi.

About career path registration

Career Center carries out employment-related work based on Article 33-2 of the Employment Security Law. Students who wish to find employment must register their career aspirations (this will be treated as an internal document and kept confidential from anyone other than the person in charge) in accordance with the law. (Even if you are not looking for employment, you must register your career aspirations.) If you do not register, we will not be able to contact you with information about employment, and we will not be able to issue letters of recommendation to companies.

About recommendation applications

A recommendation application is an application method in which a supervising professor judges whether a student is suitable for the target company and recommends the student to the company. After applying, you cannot withdraw from the selection process. Please log in to the portal → Career Support System (Career Center) → "Professor Recommendation List" to check.

Issuance of a job hunting certificate

Please note that if you are absent from classes due to job hunting, even if the activity is related to the acceptance or rejection of interviews, Career Centerwill not issue a "Job Hunting Certificate." However, if you have job hunting activities that will affect your acceptance or rejection such as final interviews during the exam period and would like to take a retake exam, a certificate will be issued.

*Application deadlines vary by year, so please check the latest information from Career Center (portal distribution).
